Rona is the owner and founder of VetCents Accounting. She began her career in public accounting before spending eight years in the education sector and later serving as Chief Financial Officer of DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital. During her 17 years in that role, she provided the financial structure for growth from 15,000 to nearly 30,000 patients per year. That first-hand experience gives her a practical understanding of the challenges veterinary leaders face every day and allows her to provide advice that is both financially sound and operationally realistic.
Rona holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master of Science in Financial Analysis, and is a licensed CPA. Rona is an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) and has earned the Certified Veterinary Office Manager (CVOM) designation. She was also recognized by the Portland Business Journal as Nonprofit CFO of the Year.
While her credentials and experience are extensive, Rona’s greatest strength is connecting with people and helping them build confidence in their ability to read and interpret financial data. She is passionate about simplifying the numbers, reducing stress, and providing practical insights that help organizations improve profitability while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care.
Griffin is our Chief Treats Officer (CTO). He was born and raised on the streets of West Texas, close to the Mexican border. After a couple of ruff years, he was scooped up by The Underground Dog, transported to Oregon by Dog is My Co-Pilot and placed in the VetCents family by One Tail at a Time PDX. These life-saving organizations provided the inspiration for the creation of VetCents Accounting.
Griffin takes his job seriously and maintains tight controls over the inventory. He ensures the we have a quick turnover ratio and that no assets are lost to expiration.
